We landed to India from Lahore the last minute before the closing ceremony, we got checked by two dogs and here we are! India.

I had this feeling inside me, WELCOME HOME

“Whether you love it or you hate it.”

Me, I loved it the first time I landed in Delhi 3 years ago. Yes it was polluted, dirty, disgusting, unhealthy, crowded and what not, but there was something, something that told me I will be back soon and a year later I arrived, again.

It has been 284 days. India is Incredible. Full power. Because of its diversity everybody could come out with a completely different experience. So I decided to share mine through photos. I will add on some tips and experience in next post.

This article is summoning up the first months (Part 1), up until Kasar Devi.

Pushkar

Hard work

Monkeys, first you adore them, then they start to steal your food. I still love them though

Holi festival, the festival of love or colours that signifies the victory of superior over immoral. This celebration is beautiful. I do recommend you to be careful though, the pigments used are mostly chemicals that can irritate your skin so using a cream is a good idea before getting out there, so you can nicely wash it off. It is best to not go alone since it might be too harsh if you do not have a strong personality.

Jaipur

Nainital

On the road, these views make you want to go deeper, higher, further..

Kasar Devi Part 1

The beauty, hard working life and happiness of life in a village can not be described in words.

A bit longer than a month, we watched these beautiful sunsets.. Since Kasar Devi is located on the top of the hill, You are able to see the sunrise and sunset every day and if the sky is clear you could see the snow mountains, aaalll around.
